Remarks

The infrastructure of this college is quite good as well as the faculty members. And i wanted to persue graduation degree from this college under calcutta university. This college has a lot of options for co curricular activities as well as provides a lot of placement options.Thats the reason i chose this College

The professors are good. The try to solve all the problem the students face. This college has a good reputation of maintaining a good academic percentage.the students are quite serious about their studies and try to score well

It provides placements in different companies based in your specialization of subjects and percentage of marks. The salaries are quite well and placement too. U need to score well to approve urself to get that placement opportunities.

The campus is quite small yet good. It holds an annual festival called Srijan where students get chance to participate and show there skills, it holds a function on all special dates like teachers day and many more.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Good for studying but should improve for recruitment

The application form is available on the college website and every other detail regarding fees and application date is available there.
