Remarks

It happened all of a sudden. It wasn't my choice at all & I totally hate it. It's worst ever thing that happened in my life. Although I once wished for it but expected to get this college but urgghh that happened. It was a miracle rather. I had knowledge about it but I never wanted it from the core of my heart. Just a casual decision under circumstial compulsion.

Course syllabus is much updated it's good to learn so many subjects as they say it is every culture. We are exposed to farms and many more :) some faculties are good some worst. My fav was agronomy sir - Prof Biplob

I'm not yet updated to this but yaah there are agri- related companies visiting our university for those who seek for placement. Students don't really seek for placement in our university. Most of them want a higher degree so the placement cell is not so active and there has been many notable alumnus from our university many are working as scientists at IARI,New Delhi.

Yea lot of events do take place from Puja to any special day small/ big it is celebrated. Ragging is prevalent. Annual fest is done. Krishi mela is also performed. Teacher's day,freshers ; all jayantis etc etc Ya these are some events.

Campus Life

Wi-Fi available with password; good library; labs are not that good it has got too old; gymnasium is available otherwise my university is a large one occupying some acres of land walking all day is enough lol.

Placement Experience:

In my University they provide us to seat for the interview of those recruiting companies after 3rd semester online so this is a great opportunity for us to have an experience event because if we read for 4 year course after 1 and half year only we are getting chance to say for the interview and the companies here comes for recruitment are very renowned companies companies like Flipkart Amazon Myntra and many others TCS consultancy they always to visit for recrating so I will suggest that the placement provide by the university is good and 75 to 80% of student getting successfully placed from the university into good companies and with an average salary of 6 lpa to 9lpa

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear.
