Was a great environment to be an engineer

There is a big Caste feeling in the college which big de-motivator. As soon as this tradition is taken off, this could be the best college in the coastal area.

ECET and I got 192 rank and chose this college as its one of the best engineering colleges in the country.

The Course curriculum was affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur and was considered one of the best. We were allowed to chose Electrical simulations computer program systems which helped.

We did not have internship programs in the college. This should be one of the future developments the college should sponsor.Hence there was NO stipend offered.

We had major MNCs visiting the college by the end of 6th semester. 80% of my classmates are selected before the end of the final semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Tata Elxsi, CTS, Syntel etc are some of the companies I remember. Everyone were offered 3 LPA as an average CTC.

When I did my engineering the college fee was quite reasonable but in the later years as the college became anonymous the fees became expensive. Now the fee is governed by the administration of the college itself

The college doesn't offer any scholarship as far as I know. However, loans can be facilitated by many banks. However the loan can be availed only if there is good financial background for your parents / guardians.

The life on campus is good. Our campus had two volleyball courts, Cricket ground, two basketball courts. Also we had National paper presentations contest and IEEE district head quarters

There wasn't hostel facility for boys when I was in the college. The college canteen wasn't great The food options are very limited. If possible better get food from outside. Also there is a place for soft drinks and some finger food. This place is actually cool

The Alumni hasn't been so great until now. Information about the college isn't communicated properly in a good fashion. We as Senior students had a very good relation with our juniors.

The Exam were quite relaxing. Most of our exams has a day for preparation. Unless one has backlogs, writing exams was stress free.

The Best part of the my college experience was the faculty. We were encouraged to be part of Technical paper presentations contests. This lead to the first type ever we organizing our own National paper presentations contest in our college.
