St.Teresa's is one of the prestiguous institutions in the city upholding to its value of Women education and It is a autonomous college so exams are on time rather than the Mahatma Gandhi University colleges. The quality of education this college offers was the main reason why i choose to join this institition and the ease to travel as its located in the heart of Kochi city was also a reason.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is similar to other Mg university affiliated colleges. Six semesters and semester exams, grading schemes, interships, projects and industrial visits are the essence of our course curriculum. Our dedicated faculty always strives for the betterment of their students.
Placement Experience
College offers many placement opportunities to the final year students. Top companies like wipro, Deloitte, Amazon, Cognizant and Calvin Klein visits the campus for placement drives. Many of my batch mates got placed in top companies with an average salary package of 20000 per month.
College Events
Campus life and extracurricular events are cumbersum in the college. Starting from the freshers day till the Graduation ceremony every now and then we have events happening in the campus. Students are getting many opportunities to showcase their talents in their college life. Teresian week is the biggest event happening in the college, its a cultural competition between first years, second years, third years and the P.G.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is good. We have a large library wuth e learning facilities, a media room, 2 Auditoriums, a canteen, a hostel, a cafeteria,and a bookstall. The only negative i felt is about the college is the poor toilet facilities provided by the college, there are only 5-10 proper toilets for thousands of girls. Being a girls college they should give first priority to such hygienic facilities.
