RKGIT for women is an effort and a first step to enhance and impart the technical education to the women. Girls represent more than half the future work force, but when it comes to Engineering, few get enough guidance and encouragement to consider a career in this field.It is good in terms of values, education, culture and infrastructure.

I had written UPTU entrance exam with 20,000 AIR. I decided to get admission in RKGITW was, it was near to my home, it was a girls college. Faculty and placements were good.

The associate dean of curriculum and course development is responsible for monitoring and promoting the ongoing process of curriculum development in engineering with regard to general education, education in the major, and interdisciplinary studies. The office guides the processes for requesting and approving new courses, revisions to existing courses, and curricular changes, including proposals for new majors, minors, and interdisciplinary certificate programs. The associate dean works closely with directors of undergraduate studies on all matters pertaining to courses and curricula.In addition, the Associate Dean works closely with the Office of Assessment to ensure that the goals of the curriculum are being met, and to suggest revisions and improvements as necessary. The office also guides the process by which undergraduate programs are periodically reviewed.

"Feiern" - our annual fest is successfully organised in RKGITW every yaer. The students of B.Tech participated wholeheartedly and mesmerized the audience through their captivating dance movements, ramp show, talent exhibition and melodies songs. This year, It was superbly organised by the students of B.Tech. The attendees included Director, DR.Rakesh Goel, Dean, Prof. Manorma Sharma, HoDs of various Departments and faculty members. The program had all the ingredients of fun and excitement. It was followed by delicious lunch.

Yes special scholarships were provided to differently abled students, SC/ST and all students who required special awards were given who give outstanding performance in exams. There is a compensation for students for loss of life, accident or if any mis-happening occurs.

There was no discrimination in terms of race, sex, politics or any other base. We were provided with a safe and secured environmen we have certain clubs in our college which helped meto bring out the real me. Such as Hobby club, IT/CS workshops technical societies of all th departments.

I had not take hostel facilities but as per my friends, the hostel was secured and the food was always heigenic.

Exams are important to judge where you exactly stand in whole lot of students. So as our college schedule the exams and labs. Labs were obviously tiring but because of our faculties and good company of students, we use to enjoy them we have to face 2 semester university exams in an year and monthly scheduled unit exams who prepared us for main exams.

The faculty members at RKGITW are most important asset of institute. Majority of them have been educated at distinguished institutions and Universities and have practiced and taught throughout the country, bringing to RKGITW a healthy diversity of backgrounds, professional interests, and outlooks on technical and management education. In addition to their academic responsibilities, our professors also serve the public and the profession as consultants and advisers to many government and non-government organizations. Our other faculty members are promoted to continuously update their knowledge base and participate in National and International evel seminars and Conferences. The college also organizes such activities of Faculty Development in the campus at regular intervals. The ratio of faculty members is maintained as per the AICTE requirements.
