Remarks
This college comes under prestigious Gujarat Technological University which has been successfully providing technical expertise to thousands of students over past 3 decades. The college non autonomous hence the paper checking is done by GTU without any doubt of partiality. This college gives very good placements to Computer and IT students and it's proximity to Vadodara is a key factor for the students to decide this as their dream college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is updated on regular basis by GTU. The First year subjects include basic subjects for all the branches which aims at providing all the basic knowledge in the fields of Engineering. In first year there is one industry trip at the very beginning during the induction programme to give industry insight to the students. And after that in the consequent year further trips are arranged on the basis of the branch of Engineering. Our college dean Mr. Ramana is the faculty I found the most helpful and supportive.
Placement Experience
In the start of 7th semester many companies come for hiring the college students. The students can secure their placements even before getting their degrees officially. The E-cell proactively organises many events to develop an understanding of entrepreneurship among the students. In our computer department TCS is the company which hires most of the students and the freshers are given an avg salary of 3.5 lacs. The alumni network is not very strong in our college. In our college computer department one of the student in 2015 year secured a placement at Google.
College Events
There are 3 festivals in our college. Our annual day Malhar which is celebrated one before our college's National technical fest Prakash. In our national fest student from the whole country get to participate. There is another festival called Vision. It is basically inter departmental fest where there are many tech and non tech events.The Prakash is the biggest fest of our college others are restricted to only our college students.
Hostel Facilities
There's no official hostel facility available but there are many PGs for students in the vasad city. Its about 15 mins from college and you will have to personally select your PG. It is very easy to get a PG.
