The college needs to hire better faculty and invest much more money into research than it is currently doing.Become a serious teacher of knowledge so that students can at least find a job and perform their jobs well. Become a center for technical excellence - hire the best faculty you can find- organize and host tech fests

CET. I scored 120. I got in throught the management quota. Piad Rs 5 lakhs for a seat. My parents moved in to this Medical College nearby. I wanted to stay with my family so I decided to join here instead of another college somewhere else.

The course curriculum is very good, I would have rated it higher had it been more updated and included more programming languages such as Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, Perl, PHP or Python. The course curriculum also lacks ERP as a subject. Considering that the ERP market is a $ 25 Billion market (CRM is a separate market worth about $22 Billion) which employs a lot of people, it is surprising that it has been left out of the course curriculum.Research is nill. I never knew of any professors pursuing research in the college.

No.There is no internship where you can work as an intern in a company for 6 months.That would have been really great but for it to happen, the University needs to lessen the number of subjects in a semester and have one semester exclusively for an internship.

3 students from the Computer Science department were placed into Infosys. A few from the other departments as well.Almost every student is placed as an ASE (Associate Software Engineer - career level 12). The salaries for this career level differ from Company to company. Most however tend to be in the 2-4 lpa range.

They don't host any technical festival.There is a cultural festival that is held once a year. There is a sports event held once a year. There is no technical or management festival held here at all. Some students go to other colleges to participate in tech fests.

It was 81,000/- a year for me. It is reasonable. It covers the cost of paying for the faculties salaries and at 12 subjects per year, it is a good deal. If you had to enroll for those 12 subjects individually in training institutions like NIIT, Aptech, or get certified, it would cost a lot more than 81000 a year.

I don't know of anyone who got a scholarship.Students got fees lowered/wavered/sponsored by the government on account of caste/minority/women quota. But no special scholarship as such.

The campus is on a national highway - so there is nothing around. This is a small town - there's nothing to do here.There are about 1:2 gender ratio - 1 woman for 2 men.Extra-curricular activities are held once a year - 1 sports event. But for the most part, there is very little emphasis on extra - curricular activities..

I didn't live in the hostel. But I would frequently visit it (mostly when I bunked lectures). But I had a lot of friends living in the hostel. The fees are around 40000 per year. The rooms are a little small. Most rooms accommodate 2-3 people. The mess food is bad. Most students eat here out of economic compulsion.

One of the seniors was helpful. But apart from that, there is no official alumni network that you can tap into when you need to find a job. I'm surprised that most colleges

For each subject, there is a 80 mark theory exam and a 20 mark internal exam.There are 2 labs per semester.The labs and exams are spaced out - one exam every alternate day.They are 6 monthly exams. Not very hectic.There is sufficient time to prepare and write exams. Whether the exams test your ability to write programs is another topic. They don't.
