My college life

Overall management was good. Once one lab equipment become faulty by us then management detained us and about to charge fone that was only unfortunate point but resolved later.

I took AIEEE and score was 78 percentile wants to go for engineering. The only option for non medical students. IIT was out of my reach so gone for PET and AIEEE.

First two semesters syllabus was basic and common for all steams of engineering. I had choose electronics and communication engineering. Most of papers were related to electronics and electrical study.

TCS,Fullerton India,Wipro etc companies campus placement organized during 6th semester and 8th semester. Stipend was not less then 15000 per month by any of them. Most of student were placed. Figure is around 150. Packages were TCS 2.4 lack,Wipro 2.1 lack,Fullerton 1.8 lack,Cognizant 2.2 lack,Satyam 2.4 lack.

Events were being organized by college as well as student association. Tech fare organized by college on engineering day and also kept open for outside students. Cultural events planned and organized by students with prior approval from management.

Fee structure was expensive. No consestaion to general students like me. There was too much relaxation to SC,ST and other backwords. Per semester fee was around 41000 excluding admission fee,exam fee,books,library,canteen,hostel and other expenditure.

Scholarship was given to top students based on pan india university ranking of student. No loan facility offered by college. No I don't got any scholarship so not much aware about it.

Campus life was fabulas and full of enjoy. Gender ratio was not good that was one factor on which management needs to think. Female students were less then 20 percent. There was no issue regarding religion. No matter of sexual harassment but affers were always there. Politics is in countarys blood and you can't stop groupping and politics on few routin matters.

Hostel rooms were meet and clean. Rooms were spacious. It was twin sharing rooms. I have also opt PG in later semesters. Average rental was 3000 per student. Mess food was also good but timing was fix. Facilities provided Bed with bedding,Study table,chair,study lamp,locker,almirah,Hot water,Garden area and canteen.

Seniors were supporting but not all of them. First year was not such supportive but as we mixed up relationship maintained and become friendly and helpful after spending first year.

Exam days was too hectic. Specially external viva's. Labs was good and spacious. Exam structure was good but exams are exam so you always be in worries up to results. Overall Structure was good.

Faculty was good. They were friendly too. We mixed up during tenure and experience was nice. I remember that I attended regular lectures up to 6th semester and teaching was effective except one or two boaring subjects sessions.
