Remarks

The faculties were from BITS graduated and the Infrastructure were the two main reasons to choose this university, other minor reasons were I got selected in this university through KCET, the Industrial Internship provided by the university was also a reason because only some of the universities were providing internships.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I opted for Electrical and Electronics Engineering course which was not very much updated only few subjects were updated only to some extent like some old modules were changed by new updated modules, As I opted this university for one of the reason that is industrial exposure which was a good experience but there is no chance of selecting your preference company in first industry internship, but for second internship which will held for the whole last semester will be all based on your selected course only. When I joined into this university I found 90% of faculties were from BITS graduated and almost all were teaching good but year by year some of these good teachers left the university and many new facilities joined who were not able to explain the course in a interesting way which affects the student's understanding to the course. Sorry for not listing the names of good faculties.

Internships Opportunities

Firstly I interned in Madhu infotech company for 2 months, IT company, no stipend, this internship was mandatory to complete the 4th semester and it was provided by the university based on CGPA. Secondly I interned in Viteos company for 4 months, IT company, 10000 pm - stipend, this also was mandatory to complete the whole 8th semester and it was provided by the university based on CGPA.

Placement Experience

3

Many IT and Mechanical companies visit the university but only 2-4 of other course based companies visits to this university, only 60% of the students have been placed, the placement process is very slow and my feedback is very poor about the placement department cause it doesn't care about the stream of the students and only focus on the placement of the student in any type of company, very less or equal to no referrals for job, no famous startup till now.

College Events

2.5

The university conducted its first technical fest in 2019 which was very good as it provided many colleges students to take part and organised many various competitions. Every year the university organised the cultural fest named as MERAKI which allowed very huge crowd in last two years and all types of activities like dancing, singing, rapping, beat boxing, rap battle, etc many were organised, every year the famous stars come to this cultural fest like this year Neha Kakkar was part of the fest. And university also organised many management festivals like ethnic day, science exhibition, etc.

Campus Life

4

The sports facilities were good as it consists of all the equipments for outdoor & indoor games and many gym equipments were also provided for workout, WiFi was available but one must take the permission for using it, library was very huge and it was very good place to study in the whole campus, the lab were also good but the machines were minimised and no individual machines were provided cause of its high cost.

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't opt for hostel but my friend stayed in hostel for one year as he shared me the experience I am writing here, Rooms were very good, yes it was sharing, yes it was limited that time(2016) but now the university own many hostel buildings, Pg's were only few and were good and price was negotiable and overall average rent for pg's is 60000 per year (2020), it is very easy to avail hostel facility cause the college has a separate department for the management of hostel facility.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like to solve coding problems and also real-time problems using machine learning. Faculties are good they are free to communicate with students. The teaching method was like using PPTs they will explain the topics so the students can understand easily. Exam we have two internals and one final exam per sem. That externals are very difficult compared to the internals they will be given inside the syllabus only for passing it will be easy but scoring was difficult.
