Remarks

I choosed this university because it is the oldest university of India. It is vinobha Bhave University.The education level is mediocre. The pass percentage is very high and you get placement also. So I choosed ucet.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are interactive.There was compulsory attendance requirement of 75%. And the class timings is about for 7 hours a day. You get an hour break.The quality of teaching is way better. I got a very good experience throught my college days.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 390000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like cognizant, Accenture etc visit the college.The pass percentage is very high and there is a lot of chances to get placement. Average salary package is INR 400000-500000 (approx) p.a.not very good

College Events

You will get an abvp membership on your college first day.you will also get freshers party. There was a student union within the college. They contribute mainly for the welfare of students and the colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed but I know.The per semester fee for the course B.Tech is Rs 25,000 and yearly fee is Rs 50,000. College toppers of all branch are given scholarship by the college itself. There are seats also for TFW which is given by JCECE board. There is also scholarships for SC/ST students in VBU Hazaribagh.

Campus Life

Campus is very beautiful In college campus, there is also a canteen which provides food and beverages at an affordable price which cost about Rs 60 -70 for 3 meals a day. There is also wifi facility in VBU Hazaribagh. Labs and libraries are well maintained and there is also a central library in the university campus.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
