Lokesh Maradi's Review On Anurag University, Hyderabad

To be honest, I have selected almost 15 colleges and ready to join in any college in which I get allotted with my rank and with that I got this college, but I am pretty much satisfied with my college. Talking about the course, I have been aspiring cse people because I am a guy with a grip in technology since my childhood and I realized that I got a good cse department in my college.

I am well satisfied with the regulation I got for our batch(R-18). And we are provided with good labs so that we get more interest in coding and they have provided hackathons for our development (yearly once or twice). And they have included almost all the topics in a well organized manner such that we get enough input about the subject which we are dealing with.

For placements, we got a separate block to train our students right from 2nd year and more concentrated on graduating people and they have tied with some training companies to prepare students to crack interviews. Best companies I have seen are amazon, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro. Almost everyone is getting placed in one or other but the package is not so high, it is just an average package. People who are directly stepping to take the job and take care of their family are not supposed to accept call letters (just my view and suggestion) because they are not paid enough to maintain the whole family. It is better to take higher studies option and try again later

Coming to campus life, I really got good people. And with those people participating in technical fests which are conducted in our college annually is a boon. But the problem is that we are limited with only one fest in our college every year. And every year there is a sports fest too. I am well surprised with this part because almost 30 colleges will come and take part in this sports fest. But the technical fest is not that much big.

Our campus has many sports facilities like we are provided with football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket and kho-kho courts and the best part is our Physical Directors because all of them are very well visioned and pursuing PhD while already 2 of them had the doctorate. So in terms of sports, we got disciplined faculty to teach us well. We have a separate block for the library which has a digital and normal library which contains many vivid sections of materials and journals. For juniors, they have provided a separate library for their independence and security. Lab equipment is almost updated as far as I have witnessed

No, I'm not a college hostel person. In the case of PG, they charge us around Rs.4000 per month which I can say is reasonable and almost in 1 to 2km radius of our college. As far as I have heard, the college hostel is, particularly for juniors. So, from this academic year or maybe next they are opening a hostel with a capacity of almost 600 to 800 for boys. For girls, there is already a good hostel which is at a distance of 400 meters from the boy's hostel and 2kms from the college. They have some rules I guess about the timings and outing
