Remarks

St.Teresa's is an autonomous college affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The reason that made me join this college, is that the management promotes Sports and Arts activities with due importance with education. I beleive acquiring a graduation is not merely about marks, it is the overall development of an individual throught enlightened knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good,In all the six semesters we have 2 intetnal exams and 1 external exam each, in total 35 papers in the b.com syllabus. Apart from these we have assignments, project, intership and many more co curricular activies that adds to our knowledge. Teachers are also good and friendly.

Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Placement Experience

Good number of Placements are offered in the college. Top mnc's visits the college for recruiting freshers. Amazon, wipro and Deloitte are some of the top companies visited. Aluminis of the college are there in Indian Cinema industry and Civil service industry also.

College Events

Campus events are so many, St.Teresa's is known for its cultural activies and sports. Students are given opportunities to participate in College fests, Different Club activities and college events. Mg Univesity Youthfestival Championship is the pride of STC. A women's college being champions for 23 times, it means a lot.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further. Then you have an interview where the management and the head of the department will ask you certain questions which are very easy to answer.
