Remarks

For a common student who doesn't have high ambitions. BPIBS can be considered due to the benefits in terms of cost, infrastructure etc offered.However, a student looking for very decent work profile should not come here.

Entrance Preview

CETBPIBS is a Govt. of NCT affiliated college. Fee structure is quite moderate Decent infrastructure available.

Internships Opportunities

Pathetic. Seems its just a formality. No stipend was offered.There is no proper arrangement for internships and forget about stipend. All they can offer you is the degree for passing the examination.

Placement Experience

There is no staff managing campus placements neither they have good arrangements. So don't rely at all that you will get a decent corporate opportunity. All what they have mentioned of in their historical placement records is fake (By fake I mean students have got jobs not because of their MBA but mostly on the basis of their graduation and qualifying exams)

College Events

There have been seminars happening which are ok ok types and are informative too but they happen seldom or very limited. In the name of sports there are couple of TT Tables and Carrom boards)There is no ground to offer Sports Meet or something like that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a govt. college, fee structure is very moderate and can be availed. I did my MBA in less than 1 lakh rupees and I am happy that most people who spend over 8-10 lakhs are at the same platform .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college offers scholorships for quota people. Competitive students also get scholorships but there are few restrictions.

Campus Life

Since most of the times lectures would be there. There is nothing much to hangout. The college is built in a relatively small complex. Very limited extra curricular or co curricular activities happen.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility available at the college premises.Regarding Mess Food - the vendor keeps on getting changed and are not quality conscious in general.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Well. I don't have much.Most of the seniors are running their own businesses or are working in some govt. department as there was a crisis in 2008 which impacted most students through 2010.

Exam Structure

Just like most other colleges. There are interim as well as external exams from university side.Mostly exam times are chilled.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

I chose this college because i didn't get any other. I wanted to study in government college that's why i chose this college. I couldn't afford private college. The other government college is better than this. The university is not good at all. There is no future with the degree from this college.The admission process is online.
