Remarks
The college was situated in Gujarat and Gujarat seemed to provide very good educational facilities at that time. Also it was a national college so it made sense to join IIITV. It was a very new college but still promising
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was very good as it really concentrated on subject around computer science. Unlike many colleges, we didn't have subjects like Chemistry, Engineering Degree etc. We had subjects purely related to CS and that was very good
Placement Experience
The placements are good, people are now getting placed at places like Amazon, Siemens, Adobe and a few other international companies too. The coding culture that flourished through the college makes it possible.
College Events
There were various committess and various clubs. Since, we were a budding college, the size of the fests was not too big but every year the crowd increased. So it was good fun to be the pioneers of something that will keep happening until the college is there
Campus Life
As it was a new college, the permanent campus was still to be constructed we were at a temporary campus with all facilities except sports. For sports we were given a chance of going to DAIICT, our then mentor college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was mandatory and it had all facilities like WiFi, Ethernet, Mess etc. The number of students in a room depended on the year you are studying in. It starts from 3 people per room and then as you reach 3rd and 4th year it gets to 2 people per room
