Remarks

This is the best NIT in the north related to the placement statistics and proximity from my hometown. I wanted to opt for the Electronics and Communication course as i had already decided. I had relatives living in Prayagraj so I would not have any inconveniences whatsoever

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was not updated. They teach the older stuff. There are some new additions here and there. No industry exposure for ECE. Yes some of the faculties are excellent like Asim Mukherjee ( Optical and digital communication), Amit Dhawan( Digital Electronics), Neha Ma'am( Microprocessor) and Arvind Kumar( Computer Architecture)

Class Size: 165Course Fees: INR 560000 per year

Placement Experience

Decent companies visit like Qualcomm, De Shaw, Arcesium, Goldman Sacs, Adobe, Samsung, Ansys, Google, Flipkart, Amazon and many more to count. The placement opportunities for the software students are more than can anyone ask for they get doubly placed. The core sector is not that good but decent students get placed in that as well. The alumni network is very strong. It is due to this network that the college is able to secure such high placement and keeps breaking its own record everytime.

Campus is not that big so life is okay. College hold many festivals like Renaissance ( Enterpreuner related ), Culrav( cultural festival), Prosang and Avishkar ( Tech Festival). The participation is okay.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good. The first year hostel SVBH is more than the students can expect. It is three seater. Tagore hostel is four seater, and the rest two seater for third and final years. Hostel is available for everyone. Rentals are very low as it is a government facility

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
