Remarks
I have heard a lot about BCP. It has state of the art classrooms, laboratories, well known teachers who are industrially known. The aura of the college is well suited for the students to be engaged in curricular and co-curricular activities. Also there are scope for the undergraduate students to do projects under the PhD and M.Pharm students. The teaching and non teaching staffs are both very helpful. The classes are air conditioned, library has wide range of books, computer lab is free for the students to access and do their research work. The campus has high speed WiFi facility. The safety parameters are also been met by installing CCTV cameras in the classes as well as in the campus. Also the college has received Autonomy status in the year 2019, which helps the teachers to model the syllabus in a better way. The college is a Government Aided College.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being an autonomous college the course syllabus was revised. New topics of current industrial interest were added and appropriate modifications were made. The college conducts an Industrial Visit everyear for Third Year students to make them acquainted with the industrial approaches and techniques. The Industrial Visit is sponsored by Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA-MSB).
Placement Experience
The college has tie ups with some of the well known Pharmaceutical companies like Cipla, Novartis, etc. The students get interviewed and are selected on merit basis. There are many alumni of our college who are working in well reputed companies like Seimens, etc. The college also conducts Alumni talks to give the students an insight of what is to be done next.
College Events
The events conducted by the college are something that the students eagerly wait for he entire year. The management of the events are commendable. Students contribute their part in it. Various committees are made to handle the same. The college has an annual fest called Resonance, which is an intracollege fest. Another fest name Rx is an intercollege fest where different pharmacy colleges in Mumbai come and participate. Rx is conducted by IPA-MSB.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is very well designed. The classrooms are equipped with air conditioning system. There's a ground at the back of the college for students to have a walk, play, etc. The college conducts annual festival called Resonance which has different events like Sports day, Cultural day, Technical events, etc. The campus has high speed WiFi facility. Library is spacious with a computer lab in it. Books are properly maintained and kept in a proper sequence.
