I wanted to pursue post graduation programme, so i chose IBS as it has Good placements opportunity, had few friends who were already associated with this institution and also because it is located near my residence.
Course Curriculum Overview
They have few excellent faculties, some full time and some visiting faculty. Each subject wise you have various assignment and presentations depending upon the faculty. Sometimes it's pressuring to handle so many tasks simultaneously but that is what MBA teaches you, time management. The course are good and they give you current cases to understand the concept.
Internships Opportunities
For summer internship I interned at IIFL Securities Ltd Dadar, where you do not have fixed stipend it was performance based, as how many demat accounts you open you get paid on that basis.
Placement Experience
They have around 500+ companies coming to campus to hire students with various openings and packages. Name it from reliance, kalpataru, lodha, runwal, Shapoorji paloonji, Icici, kotak mahindra, hdfc and any more giants. For marketing their are many companies that come to the campus, for finance they are not so much and sometimes students do not like the job description so they do not sit for the process.
College Events
They have many clubs and activities happening all the time, so you just not focus on studies but have an overall development. They have sports club named tarkarsh, singing club, marketing club named markophilia, finance club, acting and fashion club, and many more.
Campus Life
The college has huge library, provides wifi connectivity to every student, the infrastructure is good but the college does not have good canteen. It is very small, does not have much options and is always crowded and students are supposed to eat food only in canteen and no where else in college. Also they do not have campus, but they provide parking for students cars and bikes.
