It was good for mid class students there was never much money extraction from students by adding this books fee like that. lecturers for friendly still friends in facebook.

I written CET (Karnataka common entrance test), my rank was 19374.I have no reservation, I can afford only free seat which is around 12,500 per year,(higher fees is 50,000). So I chose the best available group & college combination that is mechanical engineering in sambhram college.I was interested in aeronautical engineering it was not available in govt approved colleges, and only payment seat around 70,000 per year. My father suggested go for mechanical for higher studies u can select aeronautical engineering in m.Tec.

Adjusting to the semester system was difficult at first what we studied for 1 year in +2 but now we have to finish same amount of syllabus in 5 months, and 1st sem was tough by the time all admission process and rank selection process is done 2 months of the curriculum is finished in 3 months we have to attend exams.

We had campus interview, most of the companies came were software companies they mostly hired computer science, information science and electronic students few mechanical students are used to get selected

The companies that came are wipro, infosys, seimens, Dell. minimum package they offed during that time was around 4 Lacks per annum

We used have a inter college fest we used call it as vibes it used to held every year for day's consists of sports, drama, fashion and singing dancing completions.regular freshers day and ethnic day used celebrate.

During 2005 admission process we have 3 different fees structures 1 concessional fees 12,500 per year. 2 higher fees 50,000 per year.above are through Cet3 is management quota that depends on branch

General loan facility is given by banks, some of my friends got educational loan from syndicate and sbi banks. college just gives the required documents for the process that it.

Campus life varies different to every person, there some guys who continuously party and go for trips, not every one can afford such life style.most of them hangout in sports club playing basket ball table tenis etc.i was in movie club we just watch old and new movies together and write our review about it.

My friends used to say hostel is good but after 3rd sem they shifted to individual rented houses for more freedom.canteen we have different cuisines chines north and south Indian and snacks.

Alumni network I my self yet to get invited from college from past 6 years not received any invitation from college. we also never had alumni interaction.

Felt hectic at 1st due to sem system, later got under standing as how to study as each question carries 20 Marks we have to right 5 questions out of 8, so we used to pick 5 less difficult chapters to study

1st and 2nd sem faculties are very strict because they teach for only 1 sem, we also in the same mind set of +2 where obedient.But once we joined our specialized branch course our interaction with our lectures became more friendly and open minded.
