RIDHIMA DEBNATH's Review On The Heritage Academy - [THA], Kolkata

I was really interest in computers since standard 11 as my computer marks were always good and up to my expectations so I decided to take computer application as my bachelor degree . Elders and also my teachers suggested me that Kolkata got a very good college or computer application . I wanted to do computer engineering but since I didn’t take up maths as my 11th and 12th I wasn’t able to select computer engineering so I opted for BCA in The Heritage Academy . I came to know that placement in my college is quite good as few well known companies come to provide us with the placement for example : Deloitte , Wipro , Amazon etc . And since Kolkata is quite near to my place I finally decided to study there in Kolkata in The Heritage Academy.

Our syllabus was quite vast . Teachers used to explain us very properly and we were asked to attend each and every class so that we could understand the subject properly . Tests were taken . Internal exams were taken . Practical classes thrice in a week were taken for 3 hours per practical class . Assignments , projects were also given . We were asked to perform an internship in the 4th semester . College provided us few companies for our internship in Kolkata . Since , I wanted to do internship in some other company , I had an internship in Weber IT park , Matigara , Siliguri . Dipankar Das sir , was one of the best HOD of our college . He also taught us few subjects.

Fixfin technology pvt. Ltd . I wasn’t provided with stipend as the internship was just for 1 month ( as directed by our college ). I was an intern . I worked in th inErp and for the lions club website in the back end adding products .

Placements are quite good in our college as great companies come for placements and 70% of students got placements this year in Deloitte , Amazon , cognizant ,Wipro etc . These placements were held in different colleges as in pool campusing . On campusing was supposed to be held but due to COVID-19 the placements are delayed .

Our college performs fest every year but we didn’t receive any fest in our first year due to some technical problems . In the second year , we got fest . and the event was quite big . The heritage institute of technology performs one of the best fest in Kolkata . Monali Thakur was invited the last year . The heritage academy invited Julia bliss and the underground authority to perform . Lots of guard were hired to manage the crowd

Our campus infrastructure is quite beautiful. It got campus for the Heritage school , campus for the Heritage law school , different campus for the Heritage institute of technology , campus for the Heritage Academy and also campus for the Heritage college . Wi-fi connectivity is quite good in our campus . Library got enough books , books in including different subjects , comics , story books ,newspapers etc . Computer lab contains around 40 computers per lab . There are two computer labs .
