Remarks

Renowned college. The education is good there. The teachers are friendly and helpful. The time duration is very convenient. Tries to impart the best education to their students and help their students to have a goal in every aspect of life. They encourage students to involve in extra curricular activities.

TCS (Tata consultancy services) hires students from our college. The company has always been very keen to work with our college's students. Almost all the students who fulfill the criteria given by the company has got selected.

College Events

Fests farewells are held. They try to make their students feel as good as possible. They give their students every chance to enjoy themselves. The teachers of different departments organizes workshops and take their students to different places of work.

Campus Life

The sports unit is very vast. The library is really good. All types of books are available. The WiFi is very fast. The staff and others are very friendly. They try to help their students as much as they can.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
