Best College in Mid Gujarat

The college is simply awesome. I have best of the memories with this college. Education without pressure at reasonable investment and massive return is a proper definition of SVIT,Vasad. I would recommend it to every passout who can not afford high fees.

I scored 85 percentage in my HSC exam. The college is known for its placement. Approx 80% of the students get the jobs in MNCs which was the prime factor to select this college. Computer engineering started to boom after 2005 and it was my dream to opt for this course.

The course was structured quite well. In first year the emphasis was on C language which really turned a game changer for next years. Almost all the areas of computer science were focused which helped to understand different aspects of this Technology.

The college provided the list of companies to get the industrial experience. I had my internship in Rishabh Software which is one of the biggest software company in Vadodara. I was paid 10500 during the internship.

I got selected in L&T. It was my 6th placement interview. It started with TCS and followed by Tech Mahindra,mphasis,IBM,Thomson Reuters and many more around 89 studnets got the job out of 120.

Prakharsh was a major event owned by this college. It helps the students to come up with their out of the box technical ideas. Code Marathon and sports month were something very interesting.

The fees were quite nominal compared to other self finance colleges. Also you get a flexibility to pay in installments. If you belong to any backward category you get 60% rebate in fees. The fees were 35000 including the transportation from Vadodara to Vasad. You have to pay the fees at the start of each semester.

Yes I got Sardar Patel Scholarship after completion of first year. I Scored highest in Mathematics which helped me with scholarship of 10000 INR.

It is the best part of this college. You get the best of the competition on almost every essential aspect of your life. So simply incredible the gender ratio was pretty much balanced. I would say 60-40 for boys and girls.no major influence of politics which don't divert yourself. The college don't allow the unethnic clothes. Also multiple seminars related to your career and soft skills helped to mold yourself as per the professional world's requirements.

The seniors are very much supporting. They help you with the material for the exam and at the same time they involve you in all the events. The sports week is a major event of the college. You get a chance to play with your seniors that helps you to make your bondings with your seniors. Outings and other picnics are arranged by seniors where you get a chance to part of the team.

You have to appear for two internal exams and then the final semester exam. You get around a month to prepare yourself for the final exam.

Faculty was quite experienced and helpful. Rather focusing on theories we were asked to work more on practical things. Very less submission work and flexible timeline in non productive things allowed me to spend more time on coding.
