Medapalli Sai Prasad's Review On NS Raju Institute Of Technology - [NSRIT], Visakhapatnam

I live at a place called pendurthi which is 20 km away from the college so it is the very first reason for me to join the college. When we went to the college to seek details, there they have shown us the infrastructure in the college and when compared to other colleges it is far better as they have a good amount of labs and adequate facilities. As i was interested in the mechanical stream the workshop is also good over there so i have decided to join in the institution.

The course syllabus is good but there is an immense need for an upgrade because the latest trends are not really incorporated in the syllabus. Frankly speaking, there is no enough industrial exposure, we have been taken to a very small industry only once in the entire 4 years, they claim to have taken us to NSTL but it is open for everyone but not exclusively for us. Some faculty are extremely good but some really lack teaching skills, generally, faculty who want to do PHD will join in this college because it really gives good opportunity them. Some of the good faculty in NSRIT mechanical was Krishnamurthy sir, S.Sanyasirao sir.

Worst, not at all good, they do not even get good core companies, and even if they get small ones they are fraud and they do not even pay properly. One of my friends got a placement at wunjin company they had brought the placement saying it is an MNC but it is not. There is no engineer cadre job over there all the job they had for him was a CNC machine operator and they pay very less salary . Many companies did not even give call letters to whom they selected.

We have had technical fest and cultural fest separately and we do participate in all the events. Generally, the entire college students participate in them and a few of the students also sometimes participate in them. At these events, we also invite celebrities and professors of universities and industrial heads.it is very great. In culture, we also install stalls and conduct various programs.

Sports facilities are good but we dont get enough time to play games infact we dont even have a games period. wifi is not available for students. the library is very good but it contains only course books and some latest journals on technology and previous question papers. Some equipment doesn't even work properly but some are excellent.
