Anonymous's Review On GITAM, Visakhapatnam

It was in a beach city and it had a good reputation. It was one of the most advices university at my time of choosing, it was in my birth state also contributed for me to choose this. Many reason was the city, Visakhapatnam is the green city it had many awards for that. Also college is located on the beach road and walkable distance from Rushikonda beach, and the atmosphere and ambiance of the college are great.

GITAM had the best best faculty of any other private universities in Telugu states, also they are pretty fast in updating their syllabus, curriculum is not so stressful, they allow people to participate in various things like art and photography, GITAM is the nice place if you wish to be a photographer, placements are also good, some colleges have it better but they place most of the students

I did my internship at DRDO, after that college treated me well and even gave me my own project to do under the same topic which was in EMI

Many companies visit GITAM, they also train you for the placements, how ever it’s all optional, I didn’t consider placements so I can’t help you there but my Friends did get placed in quite good companies some of them even having packages up to 600000

It was good, they not only conduct many events they let students do the organising, they have the largest feet conducted in the whole two Telugu states called GEM fest, there is at least one feat every month some times they have fear every other weekend.

They do have a stadium, a tennis court and an Indore stadium for sports, it is a clean and very green campus build in 200sq yards, I love the campus man, it’s pretty and clean all the time, they have a open theatre featured in many films, parking is good. Every branch have their own buildings, they have like 10 parks, 5 canteens, 3 pani puri stalls, a coke station, a subway and many more

I stayed in the hostel for 3 years, it’s a good one with not so good meals, they have 3 types of hostels, a premium one a mid range one and a small one. Mid range one is also quite good, small is cramped. They have their own hospital in which op is free for all the GITAM students, they also have 24hrs stay in’s, they have an ambulance service for gitam students alone. I don’t about their academics but it’s fairly new, however their dental is pretty good.
