Remarks

After completing my intermediate in commerce my family gave me the option to choose BBA or B.com computer applications and I chosen the second. And this college, because it is in the top 7 colleges of the Hyderabad.The fee is affordable and low ,has good facilities and it is very known for sports and extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is decided by the osmania university as our college is affiliated to it. Faculties are even good, they are of good experience. Industrial exposure is very much low, we never had that facility

Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

College Events

Campus life is full of fun. We have many extra curricular activities and atleast one event happens in the campus for every week. And it full of fun and knowledge to learns it's one of the best place to be there in.

Campus Life

Our campus very much huge, there is lot much sport for sports and has huge play ground for practice. Library is even too big with good infrastructure. Labs are pretty much old fashioned but still updated.

Even from 1th sem we are eligible for placement and there aee many companies like infosis etc. And average package is about 5lpa the percentage of students getting placed is around like 60-85%. My plans after degree is to open some business

Harsh reality of a college student

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Placement Experience:

5 th semester students are eligible for the placements. And in the 3 rd and 4 th semester our college conducts some placement related activities,by those we were able to crack placements in the top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.Most of the students are placed in campus only.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment. The teaching method can be changed alot ,but the course curriculum can be made more practical as similar to the workplace. The timing and frequency of exams is good ,every semester exam comes in 4-6 months

I can say that AV college has the best campus in Hyderabad compare to others colleges , when i visit it for the first time i was so impressed for the culture and events about the college and the other thing i liked is the admission process.
