Remarks

This college is very helpful for the students.Here is not a single record of ragging .The teachers of this college is very polite & friendly to students except 2 or 3 . This college location is almost near Barasat Railway Station .

I am student of Barasat College. It have a graet nature and a useful liberary,classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels (for eg. WiFi, smart boards). Are they all used and well-maintaine . Academics, Very good academics . It is a autonomous college causes a useful academics. I studying electronic engineering in this college. Teaching quality is also very good . Yes in our college include all the facilities to development in any feild

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided to pursue b.com because i have strong interest in accounting and finance .The syallus of this course is good and covers important subject like taxation and cost accouing snd business law.it would be great if the college added more computer based traing .

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Excellent!

Course eligibility -12th pass. Application form found in college official website and application fees 2970 rupees. The semester exams conducted in every 6 months which are total 6 semester that 3 years of course.Areas of improvement in admission process is too good....Read More
