Course Curriculum Overview
It was good,University was open to hear all the suggetions from industries. University introduced some additional subjects after suggestions from industry. Along with old sylabus there was a regular technology discussion on upcoming technologies.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience was OK, due to distance from the city area and lake of industries in Bhavnagar only option was to move towards ahmedabad,vadodara,Surat and Rajkot.
Placement Experience
At that time campus was good for IT,I&C and CS. We in EC also got good opportunity .Majority of my clasmates selected in GEB as there was big opeening came at that time.30% placed in telecom.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was too less as it was governement college. 3000 INR was semester fees including Exam fees,hostel was also cheap.Food mess was managed by student union so that was also cheap.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes ,as it was government college all the reserve catagory students use to get scholarships.Some sportsperson also got scholarship from university.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students and alumni network was not good at that time as it was 2001,2,3,4 when cellphone was not very common. But today it is good,even I am part of alumni group.
Exam Structure
It was semester system university followed there,no pressure on employee by other additional exams.Yes,result for last semester was declared very soon.
Faculty
Some was excellent with great teaching experience,Yes number of faculty was very less as it was government college. All the available faculty was very helpfull till placement assistance.
