Remarks
It was walking distance from my home. It was no. 1 college for the course under GGSIPU. The faculty was said to be the most competitive and educated and placements were good. The college has the best fest organized. It has an amazing and really large campus. The companies woule always come first to our college and there was no bar on how many companies you can apply for placements. Most of the colleges have maximum 3 as the placement count.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our syllabus was updated as per the norms of the university. Infact many of our faculty authored the course books. We were provided a lot many mock sessions for GD and PI to upskill us for the upcoming interviews. The faculty was pretty amazing and really educated and helpful. They would advise us anytime u wd go. They were available for helping out. rajeshwari malik, rajiv Dahiya and supriya Choudhary were one of the best teachers there.
Internships Opportunities
The college would not provide any internship but give you Avenues where you could secure one yourself.
Placement Experience
When I was part of the college 6 companies visited our campus. IBM, IBM Daksh, Future Generali, concentrix, British Telecom and Aon Hewitt. We got reference alumni interview done in EY as well. The placement cell is pretty active. They are always on the lookout for the best firms and try to offer the best profiles. We were offered associate back end process jobs.
College Events
There were a lot many societies to become a part of and showcase what you got. Cultural committee used to organise fest for competitions. They were really a big affair and would be held for a week long. The annual fest would see some celebrity coming over to perform and different colleges participating to win the cash prizes and no. 1 title.
Fees and Financial Aid
If your family income was less than a certain amount you could apply under the category of EWS where the only condition was u had to pass in every subject every semester. You would be interviewed along with yr parent to understand why you need to be given the amt reverse and how much as a part of lowering the burden on EWS of the society.
Campus Life
The campus was huge one of the biggest i came across in any of the colleges in IPU. Our college had a large library with thousands of books which was equipped with computers with internet for educational purposes. We had a sprawling ground with a cricket pitch and football ground in it. A separate badminton court. Hostel within the campus. Wifi in campus. 2 big computer labs and separate labs for other science courses as well
