Excellent internship

St. Teresa's College is a very famous women's college. It promotes arts and sports a lot. When I joined the college it was A grade college and now it's reaccredited by NAAC with A++ grade. It offers a wide variety of add on courses and professional courses along with the main degree. It is a very good platform to empower women to grow and develop in many areas.

I chose B.com Taxation because of my interest in accounting. The college faculty is really good. Majority of the faculty is well qualified at least with a post-graduation degree. Teachers take really sincere efforts to teach us very well. Most of the teachers are well experienced. Each division has at least 50 students. Two internal exams are conducted before each of the two semesters in a year. Question papers are computer-generated covering all the aspects taught in the semester.

The college has a good internship cell that the students can do their internships even in other nations too.

The College has a very good placement cell which offers a lot of very good opportunities in the top companies. It also offers professional courses like ACCA and CMA (USA) along with B.com Taxation and many other add on courses like Capital marketing, Spanish, bank coaching etc are also provided which makes the students more qualified and makes students outshine the competitors in interviews.

My course is self-financing. I have to pay Rs.50000 per year. The College offers a lot of scholarships to students having excellent scores and to those belonging to scheduled castes and tribes, financially unsound families etc. The College has a really good placement cell which offers job opportunities in top companies.

The college has a lot of club activities and conducts a lot of events. There are many clubs in college such as debate club, pk3 (an initiative under the district collector), fashion team, sports teams such as Basketball team etc. The college has its own gym. Many competitions such as essay writing in French, English etc, western music, eastern music, solo dance, poetry writing, content writing etc are conducted. It is really a vibrant event for which many famous celebrities and DJs will be joining every year. NCC and NSS training and activities are also taking place to a great extent. Festivals such as Onam, Diwali and Christmas are celebrated to the fullest in the College.

I faced only a simple personal interview where I was judged on the basis of my plus two overall percentage.
