Remarks

Huge campus, overall good college, good faculties, good sports and other amenities, Located between Faridabad and Delhi. Easy to excess the campus, Good crowd. Students from all over India and abroad. One of the top private colleges in NCR.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus courses are up to date. There is an industrial visit twice a month. Well experienced faculties, Our dean was Ar. Sunil Arora, one of the top architects in India. He had designed many big projects in India and all over the world like Etlante Mall in Chandigarh.

Course Fees: INR 265000 per year

Placement Experience

In the field of Architecture, there is not a requirement of placements. All the architects passed starts their company or firm. For some time they work under any architect for experience then they start their own.

Campus life is beautiful. There are cultural events every six months. Management is very supportive. There is a big annual function fest every year. Celebrity guest is also invited like last year Farhan Akhtar came for a concert.

The campus is huge, infrastructure is up to date. There are almost every sports facilities. Wi-fi access is provided to every student. Every department has there own library. And there is a huge central library in the campus which is the second largest library in Delhi after Amity Noida. Labs equipment are up to date.

Reality Of DCRUST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to decide this course as it is a profit course with some creative thinking going on. The curriculum of the college does not prepare at all for the real world applications or further academic pursuits. The curriculum doesn't include what is latest in technology. For example we have few elective subject which we are not allowed to choose as the college does not have the faculty for those subjects and neither do they try to get the faculty for these subjects and say that you cannot choose this subject. The areas of improvement in course curriculum are a lot. The students teach better than teachers via their presentations. The teacher just sits idol in classes and give students a topic to give presentation and teach other kids. The exams are conducted semester wise which are not at all difficult. One just needs to go through previous year papers and he will pass with good marks. The internal marks are given by teachers on the basis of how much a teacher likes a student. the work you do does not matter at all for them.

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.

You have to be the 12th pass with min 60% marks in marks. You have to appear for Jee mains and scored a decent rank in it.
