Remarks
At that time the reputation of college was very good. Top ranking students opted for this institute after the government engineering colleges due to the small batch size, reputed faculty, campus infrastructure, everything at one place. In fact, there was a big private stationery shop inside the college premises which increases feasibility for us. Also, nearness from home was a factor for choosing this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well updated and at par with the guidelines of UGC and AICTE. The college provides industrial exposure with a lot like in 1st year there is Bridge Course which gives the insights of a technical core to the students. Internships were provided in the 3rd year to boost it up. Also, the college has good relations with the technical industries in the area which helps a lot. The faculties were all qualified and some of them are very cooperative with the students like Dr Bankesh Patel (HOD Mechanical).
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are more but the salary is a big disappointment. Many companies come to the placement fair which us being held every year. But due to the huge supply of students, the salary offered is very less. The job profiles are not that much good. Most of them are from a sales background.
College Events
Mainly there are three big events which are held in college. One is the national level cultural fest which includes dance competitions, fashion shows, wall paintings, a different type of games etc. Second is the national level technical fest which has all the techy related competitions at pan India level. Some of them are Robo wars, hackathons, civil-veka etc. The third is the state level sports week which has cricket, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball competitions.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many students availed the loan facility but that loan facility is not provided by the college. You have to arrange that from a bank personally. Scholarships were only provided to the students belonging to SEBC category. No other scholarships are provided.
Campus Life
The campus has a good, well-maintained infrastructure with dedicated laboratories and workshops. Classrooms are airy and well cleaned. Two canteens are there which serve different cuisines. There is a big private stationery shop inside the campus which has everything related to engineering.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility provided by the college or the university. You have to arrange that on your own. There are many PG's and rented homes near the college that will cost not more than 5000 per month including your meals. There is a big government township named Vasantnagar Township where you can find a plethora of homes and PG's.
