Remarks
National PG College is a deemed college of Lucknow University. It is one of the oldest and best institutes of Lucknow. It is quite renowned for the quality education that they provide. The discipline of the college is way better than other colleges of Lucknow.
Course Curriculum Overview
The academics is quite tough here. The marking scheme is not very lineant and if you don't study properly, you could end up getting subject or year backs easily. The syllabus is well updated and notes are regularly provided by the teachers in the classroom. The faculty here is good but quite strict as they ensure proper discipline in the campus as well as around the campus boundaries. Nidhi ma'am, the HOD of Management block is really sweet and helpful and always there whenever you need the solution of any problem.
Placement Experience
Placements are not much good. Only 56% students get placed in companies like Google, Wipro, ICICI, etc. with the average package being 3.4 lpa and lowest being 1.85 lpa. The placements hence are not very great but decent enough for the ones to settle with an average job.
College Events
Campus life is quite okayish as we have only 3 hour classes and after that we're not allowed much to hang around aimlessly here and there. Of course you can chill at the canteen or the gardens but even slight indiscipline is not tolerated at all here. There are not much extracurricular activities happening here other than the Independence Day and Republic Day programmes where students get to showcase their dancing, music and acting skills. Very rarely 1-2 events hosted by some outside source take place.
Campus Life
The campus is not very big. It has 2 gardens where students are generally found chilling when it's not their class . The college has spacious and big classrooms (Non AC), well functioning water coolers, an amazing but a bit costly canteen, a library, a reading room and the general office.
