Best Engineering university in Madhya Pradesh comes in a rank of few new NIT and in MP comes after IIT INDORE, NIT Bhopal and equivalents to SGSITS. Best supporting Academic and faculties to students for their future goals and plans. Placement is also good. Situated in a best city of central India.

Syllabus- The academic course is simple basic with a couple of newer subjects or chapters. This is not necessarily a bad thing as with these basics you would be able to study in depth any subject relating to the field. Faculty - As many have said not every faculty is top notch then again it is up to the individual to get as much out of faculties as possible. It seems to everyone that the faculty is not interested but they have taught batches upon batches the same thing over & over again. If you study your subject sincerely & attentively you will definitely have enriching conversations & discussions with them. Personally I have had good conversations about machine design, thermodynamics, RAC etc. Exams - This is the easiest part. If you just study the basics you will sail through your college with a degree of 70–75% which will enable you to sit in the placement of every company. Now if you want a very solid academic career then you will have to put more effort & study in depth.

This year there were many mass recuiter Accenture(250 offers), Cognizant(150 offers), Wipro(70 offers) and Infosys(150 offers), LTI(85). highest package of 20 lakh offered by Vmware, nuclei and two more companies give almost same packages to 10-12 students. Company like ZS, quantify and 7-8 more companies offered package around 9-10 lakhs. Must garment a Foreign company recruited mechanical engineering students at 12 lakh package. The other companies which visited campus this year was Mu-Sigma, Capillary Technologies, Incture Technology, Tata Technologies, Mahindra Comviva, AmDocs, Prism Cement, DXC Technologies (former known as CSC), World Pay, Impetus and many more.

Clubs - There are 4–5 good clubs of technical & cultural background. But the number of clubs limit the options & number of people that can participate in them. If you get into any of them you will definitely learn sometime new. In technical clubs you will experience 1st hand practical & commercial application of what you are studying. You will learn budget management, people handling skills , team work, working within tight deadlines & entrepreneurial skills. Only 1 drawback, you will have to toil long & hard to get permission & clearances to do anything. People would not be open to new ideas.

Govt. Scholarships to category students, MP govt. Medhavi student scholarship to top scorer in academics. Loan facility are not offered by college but students can fill fee by taking loan from bank or somewhere by itself.

The campus is beautiful. It has a lot of open spaces. All departments have their own blocks . The library is reasonably well stacked but it is more of a book bank. There is not enough space to sit & study. Sports facilities are at the main university campus which is 1.5 km away. Auditorium is also in main university campus. There is a smaller auditorium in the college itself but its capacity is very low 200 people (approx). There is an open air stage for cultural fests & other events. Hostels are decent. The mess is a concern. It's alright to keep you from starving & that it will do. The quality fluctuates a lot on day to day basis.

Hostel life is awesome very big area is occupied by hostel in college, rooms with required furniture, WiFi, canteen, mess( not compulsory), students can go anywhere in campus 24*7. All festivals celebration in hostels. Full freedom to students for good activities.
