Remarks

Management is bad. Faculty is poor. Only placements are good. Think twice before going here.

Entrance Preview

I gave UPTU entrance exam. Got 14, 000 rank in India. I wanted to opt for the same course so there was no choice there. Admission process was not very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Curriculum was divided into Electonics+Computer Science for the first 2 semesters. Rest 6 semesters it was Electronics and Communication focused. The faculty is not highly experiences or cooperative. There were assignments given every week without any guidance of how to complete them.

Internships Opportunities

In our college there was no concept of internship or stipend.

Placement Experience

4

The only good thing was placement in the college. There were good number of companies who came to the campus for placements and if they are not coming to our campus, we will be informed for other venues where placements are happening. However there were no transporation provided for other venues even if they were outside the city.

College Events

3.5

2 main events happened in a year.1) ZEST: cultural event 2) AAMOD: Sports event. Both were held on a grand scale and there was good talent that could be seen in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive as it is a private college and the hostel fee doesn't complement the kind of facilities provided. So its not worth it. Also the holiday of the week was n Monday and it was very difficult to get the leave approved for going to your hometown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship for those who scored 75% and above in any semester. No loan facilities that I know of. The scholarship that I am mentioning was also only 25, 000.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities were good but there was no time/encouragement to take part with them. Still if you just don't care and go through with it, the opportunities were good.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Very bad quality of food. People used to fight for chapatis like animals and sometimes you have to compromise with chapatis which tasted the dust. No utensils in rooms allowed even if you are dying with sickness. Fixed timings and fixed menu.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't see any active alumni communication that happened in past or is still happening in the college. It was something that was never encouraged or we didnt expect it as well.

Exam Structure

The exams and labs were very frequent and there was no chilling out time. However due to this frequency of tests, students never took most of the tests seriously and generally studied only for finals.

Faculty

1.5

Faculty is more interested about students personal life rather than shaping their future. There were only 1-2 professors in the entire 8 semesters who really knew what they were teaching. They discourage extra curricular interests as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
