Remarks

Dav is affiliated to bhu and you get the degree of bhu. It is an accredited a+ grade by naac. It is situated in the heart of the city. The campus is small but you have all facilities - indoor stadium, playground, auditorium, language lab, women help centre etc

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is up to date, And timely completion of syllabus, You are also taken on an excursion to nearby industries. All faculties are very helpful and always there to help you. In the English department, I like Sangeeta Jain.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I did an Internship in the Travel Corporation of India Ltd. I was paid a stipend of 6000/month. It was a great experience working with TCI. I got knowledge about the Tourism Sector.

There are only a few Companies That visit our College Otherwise You will have Contact the Placement Cell of BHU regarding This You can Avail Placement Facility of BHU, Many Companies like Amazon, TCS, Azim Prem ji, etc come to take students.

There are many seminars and workshops organised by DAV. International seminars are also organised. It holds yearly college fest in the month of January - udaan. College also participates in bhu yearly fest. Intercollege fests are also organised.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't avail any scholarships but you can opt for the up scholarship provided by up govt, You can also take part in curricular activities where you are provided cash prizes. No loan system is there in college till now. You will have to pay the amount once a year by online mode.

Campus Life

It has wi-fi, hostel, library, language lab, commerce lab, NCC, NSS, indoor stadium, playground, auditorium, etc. You will find all types of books available in the library. Everything is online here. The campus also a nice canteen where you will get Maggi, patis, biscuit, coke etc

Hostel Facilities

I had opted for a hostel but due to limited seats I couldn't get that, Infrastructure is old, And it doesn't seem so nice, But if you want to stay inside the campus or you are handicap then it is perfect for you. As you will also be provided with free food.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Don't get admission in DAV pg college BHU before reading this
