Remarks

It is one of top 20 business schools in the country and 3rd best for HR, reputed Symbiosis University and 25 years of heritage. The preferred location for companies, Controlled batch size. Better than other options I had. Good median package and satisfactory placement record. However, too much focus given on committees than academics and biased for them.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academic syllabus was good but average faculty. Good ones in HR only. Curriculum is nice but poorly followed. Focussed on group activities. Regular assignments keep students busy. Library has relevant books and online resources are more than adequate.

Internships Opportunities

Summer internship in Titan company limited. I interned for a marketing profile for international business division. 2 months internships stipend was 100000.

College Events

Campus life is good. Conclaves and fears keep happening. Facilities nearby for fun and weekends. But too far from city to be compared to Pune life. Lots of management competitions. If you get in any committee you sparsely get time for classes. Busy schedule keeps from going out much.

Poor infrastructure. GYM and swimming facilities are good. NO WIFI in hostels. Great in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. 3 sharing rooms. Academic block is well equipped. Canteen as well as mess. There's tapri outside for other small cravings.

Hostel Facilities

Girls hostel in campus but Boys hostel is about 800m away. Both shared by students of 3 colleges. Stores for refreshments are okay. One ground for all activities in each hostel leads to mismanagement.

Hostel Fee: INR 600000 per year

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. Sneak Peak into the life of SCMHRDIANS!

Any person is eligible who is completed his/her graduation from some well known university and having grad percenetage above 50(for general) and above 45 (for st/sc). The application form is available at the time of applying for the Snap exam else seperately from the college or university portal it could be filled. In Symbiosis International University, they have the reseravtion provision for Kashmiri Migrants, ST, SC, OBC, PWD. They are benefitted in the order of seat reservation. For Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats, SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 3% of the total seats are reserved.
