Remarks

One of the finest Commerce Colleges around Garia, Kolkata. Has a strong foundation in the commerce department. It is a college under the Calcutta University. Facilitates IGNOU for long distance courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The commerce department is one of the finest, reputed and the strongest pillar of the college. Other than that the chemistry department has also got a strong hold. The course is updated to the changing syllabus of the country.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 3800 per year

College Events

Freshers party is given every year and any one having the majority of votes from the class can take a part for Mr. And Ms. Freshers. All the ocassions, pujas and Teachers Day is celebrated warmly. Sometimes they rent Manchas for celebrating events and brings celebrities for performing.

Campus Life

Has got every single equipments one can ask for in the chemistry and biology labs. The library is quite big having two parts divided my a glass wall. Has got a stage set for performences and announcements and a huge garage. Has got a large playground of its own. 3 large 4 - storey buildings and wi-fi connection 24 hrs, a large canteen quite some scape to sit and have a chat between periods.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
