Remarks
Local people & students interference was very high 2. marking system is very tight and marks were not given so when you come to market for searching the job, getting a call it self become very difficult due to this 3. very costly college, out of reach for average income group people.
Entrance Preview
No exam attended in 2001, selection criteria was based on marks obtained in 10+2 referred by relatives, so opted for this no other reason.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good it is a deemed university and part of manipal session was on time labs were fully equipped with latest instruments examination were conducted timely and results were declared on time.
Internships Opportunities
No internship available in smit so stipend were offered no other feedback to write here.
Placement Experience
In smit in 2005, there was no training and placement cell available in smit so, no campus selection and support in searching the job were provided no idea about current status.
College Events
College feast was conducted every year we had called u-phoria band in one of the feast year this was one of the best college event celebrated all other years we had called local artist.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was very expensive at that time (in year 2001), it was costing about one lakh in a year including mess, hostel and tuition fees no it is all most double.

No such facilities were available you have to arrange every this by own no scholarship/loan facility.
Campus Life
Campus life was good local people & students interference was very high and some time resulted in fights apart from this there was no other problem in campus life.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms were available on twin shearing basis with attached bathroom room standard was very good total 7 floor building hostel is very huge and can accommodate 1000 students mess food was very costly and worst than expected you have to go look for alternative arrangement.
Alumni/Alumna
No alumni network available college seniors were very good, help full they guided us through out campus life.
Exam Structure
It was based on semester there were 2 semesters in each year and totally 8 semester for 4 year course.
Faculty
Faculty were very good e&c and ec faculty are highly qualified lab faculty were excellent mechanical faculty were not up to the mark any way i was in e&c, was not very much impacted.
