College review

Some of the faculty working in our college and really bad at english and we sometimes need to take our local friend with us if we want to talk with the faculty. and if we have backlogs,we need to pay Rs4400 for the registration of only 1 subject which i think it is over priced. The placement is bad compared to other colleges

The syllabus is always revised every year but the lab and the material that they provide is not sufficient for the students.4-5 students needed to share one device in lab. No teaching or class is made to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students. Industrial visit is organized every year for the 3rd year students.

The placement for my department(ECE) is not that good compared to other department in our college. Internship is provided if the student is qualified for it. The percenatage of student placed for the placement would be around 20% as far as i know. Placement class is made once a week to train us for the interview in jobs or placement

Every year our college would made sanskruti and maitri fest which is the main big events for our college. In these fest,outsiders are invited to participate in the event and there would be differnt items from fashion show to dancing show. Tickets are sometimes made and sold for theese events and DJ are hired mainly for the events. Apart from these two events,different festivals like electrotech are hosted by different department in the college. For cultural festival,ethnic day is made and in this day,we would wear only our ethnic dress.

The fee is quite expensive compared to other colleges. I am under GOI quota and i need to pay Rs 47k per year. the fee varied upon the student and upon how he get the seats in our college. for payment,we can pay through online or through bank in offine form. No,there is no additional fee needed to be paid except the admission fee. The college would always give transparency in the fee breakdown. But the fee is always increased each and every year

I got tribal scholarship every year by filling and uploading the required data every year. There is no eligibility if you are the student from the state. Yes,i availed student loan from my bank

There are more male students in our college as it is engineering college.the ratio would be 4:1.im also from another state and dont know their language. and because of this,i sometime face problem in teaching and communicstion. around 3percent of the students are from outside the state

As far as my knowing,After graduation,the alumni or senior students dont have interaction with the students in the college. some of the teachers in the college are the passed out students from our college

I got the seat in my college through GOI quota. My state ie Mizoram state has 12 reserved seats in my college. The students from my state gave JEE exam and based on our JEE marks,we can choose the seat in the college. I chose this college because there is ECE subject in the college

For our department. There is around 25-30 theory lecturers. i dont know if they hold any relevant industry-experience. the junior lecturers would be around 30-35 years and the senior lectures would be around 40-50 years.on average they would be around 40 years old
