Since MSc physics was a course mostly producing manpower working in the sectors of education and research most of the placement options provided for this course was related to teaching in different colleges including St Aloysius institutions. Apart from this research related opportunities were also introduced to students and have resulted in ample number of students landing into research.

There were large number of curricular and extra curricular events organized in the college with all opportunities for the students to organize as well as participate. These includes national and internation conferences, paper presentations in these events.

The tentative number of lecturers in the course are seven, along with the average age of 45 and a minimum qualification of PhD, as per the hierarchy. Expertise of the faculty will equip the students with upto date knowledge of resent developments in the field of their topic. Frequent lecture secession arranged for the students help them develop keen interest over the topic.
