Remarks

BESC has a very good name in the university for its BCom and BBA courses and faculties. The college has a very good infrastructure with all modern technologies with which learning becomes a lot more simpler and interesting.The college was highly suggested by my teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

BESC is affiliated to Calcutta University and follows thr syllabus as per the Part and CBCS system. Faculty of the BCom is the best in the college. The BCom department of BESC is quite famous in Kolkata. Professors are very supportive and friendly.

Placement Experience

Bhawanipur Education Society College has a very good placement cell. Many students are hired by companies like TCS, Cognizant, ICICI bank, Dell, etc. The average salary package for the fresh graduates is 2-3 lakhs per annum. However the placement facility is not available for all the departments.

College Events

The infrastructure is pretty good and the campus is huge. All the events take place in the college campus including the college annal fest, inter college competitions, debate competitions, fashion shows, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, rap battles, etc.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
