Good placement opportunity. Highly reputed private university. Awesome campus life. Near to my home in chennai. Was not able to clear JEE and hence opted SRM. Necessary help is provided by the staff and also the crowd is mix of students of various talents as students from across india come and study here. Excellent events and clubs are organized throughout the year. Despite tough competition placement opportunity much better than other regional colleges with over 500 companies coming for recruitment

Curriculum is similar to other colleges but more theoretical than problematic. Academic life is good and student has ample time for extra activities he wants to pursue. Various workshops are available and also hackathons to join so as to meet and learn from the people of same area of interest. Faculties are average and similar to any other college but there are exceptions and certain faculties are really helpful. Good lab facilities for one who wants to pursue career in field of research.

Almost all famous companies AMAZON , MICROSOFT, UDAAN, PAYPAL, ZS associates, etc have offered about 100+ students with package greater than 22 lakhs. Then there are mass recruiters like TCS , WIPRO etc which gave offers to nearly 4000+ students this year. More than 500 companies visited campus and 8000+ students got offered. Job opportunity are excellent for computer science and engineering. Almost all of them get offers. Placement is a bit difficult for core students due to high competition and less companies hiring. But a student with good core knowledge is likely to get a core job. I personally gave interview of 9 companies and applied for 30+. More than 200 startups visited the campus giving entrepreneurs a chance to join company. There is a alumni club which helps students for mentoring and also guiding them for placements and helping them for internships.

Excellent events like AARUSH , MILAN where students from PAN india participate. Excellent club activities are conducted by more than 100 clubs present in campus. Generally stars are invited as chief guest. For facilitation of degree generally guest are among the cabinet ministers.( Pm Modi , pranab mukherjee etc.). Majority of these events occurs only at main campus and hence other campus students generally do not attend.

Generally toppers of SRMJEE receive full fees waivers. Scholarship are provided for sports specialist students and also to students who tops in the semester examination. But the amount received is not very high.

Main campus of the college has state of art infrastructure. Awesome food court and very green campus. Good transportation facilities and entertainment near by. A hospital is inside the campus and it's a added advantage. Sports quota students are given access to all sports equipment and stadiums and courts and are helped. But the other campus the infra is not too good.
