Serving the nation as a doctor was always a dream for me. This college makes it a reality. It shapes me into an individual skilled in both medicine and the art of life. It provides the perfect balance betweek studies and co curriculars for the holistic development of an individual.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well prepared with adequate exposure to both theory and practical knowledge. The faculties are the best in eastern india. The department of surgery, medicine, pathology, community medicine, paediatrics are a class apart.

The campus is equiped with free wi-fi but provides limited data. We have one of the best libraries for any medical college. We have sports rooms and commom rooms in the campus as well as hostels equiped with sports items.

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
