Remarks
Well i would just say that the part of my life which i spent there was good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the curriculum was made very nicely. It covered all the subjects. But there was no industry exposure or can say less practical experience. The classes were taken as per the schedule.There was no industrial visits for students nor any seminars.
Placement Experience
At that time there were no placements or drives as i remember for the students below average when i was in the college.Now the placements are held.
College Events
There were cultural events held by the college yearly on large scale. The students were invited to participate in the programs. There used to be dances, role plays, speeches. A guest of honor was being invited. There was prize and certificate distribution by the guest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was feasible. the college accepted cash and bank payments at that time. the college provided a transparency in the fee break down. I had done part payment and had paid my fees. The Accounts and finance team had helped if there was any issue.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i did not avail for any loan nor did i get any scholarship from the college. At that time i was not aware of it.
Campus Life
Over all the campus life was good. The no. of females and males was almost equal. The extracurricular activities were held frequently. Sports competitions use to be held. Different sports like football, basketball, swimming, indoor activities, etc.
Hostel Facilities
No, as my home was near to the college so i did not use the college hostel. The college hostel was costly comparatively from the other hostels what i had heard. Good PGs costed Rs 5000-6000 which included food in it.
Alumni/Alumna
Well the first day of college i met with a group who was taking ragging. But i handled it though we never talked.
Admission
I have done B.Com from IPS Academy as it was a good college at that time. i had gone through the interview process. Post which i had to fill various forms for my details post which they gave a Joining date. The college was run with a School which again was one of the top schools.
Faculty
There were many subjects like Accounts, Cost Accounts, Statistics, Math, Human resource, Computers, Economics, Law, Marketing and Finance. The faculty was always supportive. They use to take lectures and we use to prepare the notes. During the exams they would help in the studies.
