College isn't bad at the same time it isnt something, one should dream to join. It's just one of the university/college to complete your graduation.

Course curriculum used to be some what similar to UGC regulations. But it's not some thing that's out of the box or research driven. It's just one another college, go study get marks, make friends, get degree, if luck is in your favour, get placed. Leave the college with a degree certificate.

Placements were pretty poor particularly for branches like mechanical, civil and bio technology. On top of that they will force you to attend all IT related jobs even though you aren't interested. I was forced to attend for TCS and I denied it, so they removed me from placements. For them, placement is more important than your engineering discipline.

There are 2 different events organised every year by university and students. Technical event was named as SAMYAK and cultural event was named as SURABHI. Events used to be pretty good as many local college students used to visit as it's only reputed university in that area.

I am five years back alumni, back then it's feasible. Now fees was raised to almost 2.5lakhs per annum and it's no where feasible. It's pretty expensive compared to the value you get by joining there. I don't think, they updated any of the labs. Library got updated, but not sure how much it's improved.

I availed no scholarship. They offer scholarships on merit based in their entrance test, EAMCET, JEE mains.

As I'm from mechanical engineering, gender ratio will be poor. In my batch, it's 5:100. Labs have very old equipment. Competitions used to take place every year during college fest SAMYAK. I won't say that college helps you in competitions, but if you have good knowledge and enthusiasm to learn, we can ask some good faculty for their support.

Yes, I opted for hostel. Facilities were average and worst part is they are 20 kms far from colege going through few worst traffic areas of Vijayawada. Daily commute will be provided by college administration.

Not much. Got multiple emails from the college regarding alumnus but nothing like they will help us in shaping our career or life.

I Got admission into college by their entrance test. College belongs to my home state. It's One of the few private universities available in AP. I heard Most of the professors from mechanical engineering are good from College alumni and so opted for it.

I am not sure, how many faculty were available In mechanical engineering, but the faculty to student ratio used to be decent. Most of the talented faculty were given administrative roles and so will be quite difficult to go and get your queries clarified from them.
