Overall good experience as it is very difficult to get In any iits but facilities were awesome.

8 semesters with unit test mid sem and end sem in each semester. You have to clear every exam and every semester each semester has around 4 months amd than three months summer vacation and one month winter vacation. After clearing all the exams you will be provided the degrees.

100% placement with average package 10lacks. There is a placement cell with arrang the placement process for every company.

Antaragni (English: The Fire Within) is the Annual cultural festival of IIT Kanpur, held in the month of October. It is one of the biggest college cultural festivals of Asia. The four-day-long festival, attracts participation from over 350 colleges of India.

Campus life is very good as it is a huge campus but gender ratio were very poor specially in btech students. There were so many extra curricular activities divided in cultural and others. You can be a part of any number of activities as per your intrests they have clubs for every thing.

There is an alumni association of iit kanpur which conduct activities and meeings every year in different regions in which you can take part and seniors were very helpful they called juniors baccha

By giving jee mains and advances in april and may Around fifteen lacks appear in mains and than ten percent of that in advanced. There are around Fifteen thousand seats in all the iits. There are around eighteen iits all over india having each state one.

Most of them were post doc in their areas with very vast experience and knowledge. Every faculty has its own laboratory and staff. They were conduct relevant courses during exam and help MTech and PhD students in their research. Most of the faculties have published several research papers.
