Engineering College

Overall it is a good place to be. It can use some improvement but otherwise it is a good institution.

We had exams once in the middle of the semester and once at the end of the semester. Some percentage of mid-sem was also added to the final percentage. We were taught every thing that was in the syllabus. Although it was all not always relevant in today's world but it gave good amount of knowledge.

The placement for ECE is not very good in general for ECE. But some companies came including Z technology, infosys, wipro, cient etc. Many good companies came for CSE and IT branch and maximum students were places from all the branches

There are 2 fests that take place in our college. First is a literary fest called Eloquence and it celebrates literature in all possible ways. Many participants come for events like kavi sammelan, English poetry, debates, JAM etc. The other fest is a cultural fest called Corona and it includes all cultural events like dance, music, street play, fashion show, etc.

The fee structure is okay, it cannot be called feasible or expensive. The mode of payment is only through Demand Draft. No there are no additional fees/charges that have to be paid in order to secure an admission. Yes the college provides transparency in the fee-breakdown.

No i did not opt for any scholarship or education loan.

The gender ratio was fine and the crowd was pretty diverse. There used to be lots of workshops in the college related to different things. There were all kinds of labs with proper facilities. There were many cultural societies which did a good work and went for many competitions and won good amount of prizes. There was tolerant environment with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. Everyone was accepting regarding all these matters.

The seniors are very helpful. They help us with notes, basic understanding of the environment, etc. They tell their experience and guide us through the tough times.

I gave the CET which is the entrance exam for IPU and got a rank later. According to my rank I was given this college. I opted for this course because I'm interested in ECE and I chose this college as the faculty here is very good.

The faculty of ECE branch was good and they paid attention towards understanding more than marks. We were all given proper attention in the class. Also the teachers were very supportive and helpful. They helped us in all the possible ways.
