My Review

The college with regard to its administration is quite efficient in its own way. There is proper and smooth conduction of form of events and things are quite disciplinary and punctual which are to be followed by each and every student of this College. This is an outstanding feature for this College.

The course curriculum and exam structure is quite efficient here as our professors are quite diligent and help us in every aspect by taking regular texts after the completion is each topic and help us in performing better for the internal assessments as well as for our university examinations. The regular classworks and homeworks given by our teachers enrich us by maintaining a practice of writing long and short answers which keeps us ready for the upcoming examinations.

There are various internships being offered in our College frok time to time which the students can avail for the betterment of their career opportunities. Internships are a major break for the part in students life and hence are provided quite regularly from each and every field, for eg from Media ( EZ NEWSROOM) and Intershala which provided enormous opportunities for students.

Open day festival, Samagam, Inter-college fests, kalakriti, historia, dialego, celebration of quite number of events are done and celebrated in our college. Our college hostas and even goes to other colleges for participation and has been an active participant throughout. The students of our college has set a standard standpoint in every field they go to perfom in different colleges and are known for their speciality on that ground.

It is quite feasible if seen from a general perspective. But eventually, the break down of fees for different quarters like July-Oct is 18, 600 then Q2 forn Nov-Dec is 2, 500, Q3 Jan-Mar 3, 500, Q4 Apr-May 3500 becomes quite expensive for some people. But as compared from other colleges, it is quite affordable.

There was a scholarship programme given for the all the girl students of this College. The kanyashree scholarship programme was for all the girl children who had a basic family income.

The college is quite efficient in all these fields and has a trademark set in each and every field starting from debate to dance competition and has won various trophies and medals in each and every field. The students of this College are quite diverse academically and on extracurricular grounds and hence are hugely celebrated for that.

No. The hostel facilities in our College are only for the Christian catholic minority girls who come from different places to reside here. The general category people like me, if they reside in the same city then they travel the distance and come to attend classes in College as attendance here is given a huge priority. There are several students who go through a long journey and come from very far like Dumdum, Bandel, Chandannagar etc. just to attend classes here.

They ar quite helpful and approachable if there's any problem or if they are need. They are invited to various programmes held by our college and are being attended by them regularly.

After the completion of my boards, I had signed up for various prestigious colleges in kolkata as well as in other states. I got my merit list in more or less all of them but my parents preferred Loreto College for my Graduation Studies and hence I got myself admitted here after the release of my name in the 4th merit list of this College. This is a prestigious and profound institution out of all the colleges in India and has an eminent position throughout due to which my parents wanted me to go for this College for my higher studies.

The faculty of my college are very much approachable and helpful. They are there to guide us in each and every aspect with the syllabus and provide us with explanation in detail of every topic and provide us notes which makes it easy for us to learn and prepare for the given topic with basic reference being given for us to check.
