Mohammed Asif's Review On Deccan School Of Management, Hyderabad

My previous classmates have studied in the college, and their feedback was an optimistic one, so based on their recommendation i opted the college. It's been now 10 months, since I've joined the college. The principal and the fellow lecturers are very engaging with the students. So it does provides message that they are concerned regarding the students, who are studying in DSOM. Fortunately this year 2020 they've started to conduct sports event after a gap of 10 years according to them. These events will promote physical exercise in the students. The college is situated in Darusalam, near Nampally, it's the head Office of National Political Party named "All India Majlis e Ittehad ul Muslimeen"(AIMIM) before coming joining this college i used to think,there may be the political influence over the management,but Alhamdulillah there was no such kind of thing I've seen while being in the college, though college is near the office, but still there is a distance between these two structures, political events are limited only to the office, and College is doing it's work to it's limits. Hopefully this positive gestures will also be for long. Good Luck to me and good luck to everyone who are here and who would join in future.

Currently i.e 2020, the syllabus is based on 2016 as per Osmania university guidelines which is being followed by the college. In semester one there is a paper called Business Communication, it was a wonderful period which i use to enjoy cause it's use to have various activities i.e Group Discussions, Analysis, Paper presentation and much more which would definitely help a student to face the challenges in an interview.

The placements are average as I've seen the website stats before opting it. Lecturers still provide information how there placements have been and how the students responded to it, which will give an idea for first year students to prepare themselves or i mean to the way to excel. For now i.e since 9+ months I've joined the college, the things have been okay. In extracurricular activities we've participated in inter-college competitions,and college too have conducted the sports event for two days to promote the physical movements and exercises.

Scholarship have been provided by the state Government after qualifying in the ICET exam. So results of Comman Entrance exams are applicable in college, to book your seat based on your ranks. If unfortunately you didn't qualified in ICET. Still you can receive the seat in quota reservation. There are sections in first year, so a limited strength is allocated in each section and are focused on students.

Classrooms are well open, each student will have his own chair to sit, lecturers are provided with a platform,so the students sitting at a distance can see the lecturer and can listen,library and labs are quite okay one.
