The college is presently one of the largest graduate, postgraduate and research institutions in Andhra Pradesh imparting engineering education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good It is a 4 years course with 8 semesters. Each semester has 8 subjects were 5 are theory based and 3 practical based. And in 8th sem, there are 5 subjects 4 theory based and 1 practical based and a project. In every semester every subject has 2 internal exams and 1 external exam.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides internship. The minimum stipend for a company is an average of 6k per month. Companies Yes, our college provide internship. Placement Experience
The placements were very good. Around 50 students were placed this year in companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys Capgemini, Aurobindo etc. The average salary the companies were offered is 3 lakhs per annum. Episource offered 17k per month, elico offered 15-25k per month, Aurobindo offered 12k per month. And the posting is in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad
College Events
Each year there are two events celebrated in our college. 1. Anusodana - A statewide technical fest where 10k students have appeared from different regions of the state Anusodana is conducted in the month of September or October for two days where the competitions lo quiz, poster presentation, debates, essay writing were conducted. 2. Youthfest is a statewide state wide cultural fest where students were coming from different regions. It is conducted in the month of January.
Hostel Facilities
There are 3 hostels 1 girl hostel and 2 boys hostel. The hostel rooms are very good and the sharing is about 4 members per room. The mess food is in good quality. If you don't like hostels, PG's are available which are very near to the college and the fee is about 3000 per month.
