Entrance Preview
Joined by giving an entrance exam COMEDK and scored 9990 rank. I opted for CSE as my stream in SJBIT, Bangalore. I choose this course over the other courses as i had interest in this field and wanted to make my career in the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are outdated and based in VTU standards. what we study are the old thing not the latest trending things. Moreover here college and university make student to mugup the subject and give exam, least priority is given to practical approch.
Internships Opportunities
There is no internship like thing in our college, specially for cse branch. Rather the college privide 1 month skill training program for 4th year students only.
Placement Experience
The only good thing about this college is the placement here. Placement and the job opportunity is very good and that the only reason why most of the students opt for this college.
College Events
College celebrate lots of events like Varchesva, a college fest and many more department events like techquest, elysis, Dyiti, Mpower etc. There is even a BGS utsav hosted by our college for all the colleges and schools that comes under the bgs group.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is as per the government noms.COMEDK students need to pay more then 150000 and karnataka students need to pay 40000. Where as management students can be asked to pay upto 300000.
Fees and Financial Aid
College dont provide any scholarship, as per my knowledge, some scholarship come but only for the ST/SC or OBC's.
Campus Life
labs are unmaintained, hardware are faulty, but over all manageable. In this field sports etc are good. College conducts an events for the interest of the students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good and well maintained. Staffs are but rude and unfrinedly, timing are very bad. Mess food is ok, but there is no non-veg foods.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are good they provide all the help they can provide and they know the pain of being the part of this college. I havent heard there is any alumni for up, no student is aware of this fact.
Faculty
Some are good, most of them are average. Faculty need to be student supportive, but are are strict followers of the rules, not linens. Some are even having very ill attitudes towards students, specially for non-state students.
